Episode Twelve-Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton Engage in Conversation
Two Founding Fathers are put in the spotlight as students from Lylburn Downing Middle School in Virginia interview Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton.
Jefferson and Hamilton will recount their early years, their educational struggles, and their paths as Revolutionary War Patriots and Statesmen. These seventh grade students will discover through their inquiries that these two Founding Fathers more often than not represented opposing viewpoints on topics such as the economy, a National Bank, the structure of government and American’s journey as a new nation.
